To advance sex workers' rights and access to services, WNU utilizes UN mechanisms like CEDAW and the UPR to combat systemic impunity and societal stigma. In collaboration with regional networks, WNU integrated these advocacy priorities into its 2024β2025 agenda and presented the CEDAW monitoring report to relevant national stakeholders and ministries, calling for improved working conditions and legal protections.
